It is the firm opinion of the RCTU that all staff should complete the staff survey to give fullest vocal expression of their thoughts and views. Recent conversation we have been involved in or have heard reinforce the need for the views of the disenfranchised to be heard. Frankly the recent BoF announcements and follow up statements could not have been better planned. We look forward to the true voice of the staff being heard.
We know people fear being “tracked down” for voicing their opinions but only with a robust Trade Union on your side will you be protected – The RCTU is that Union.
It was refreshing to read the views of Mike Clancy, the General Secretary of Prospect
“Prospect is not affiliated to a political party. This was to establish our credentials to speak on behalf of members who vote and think across the political spectrum. I believe our political neutrality is the cornerstone of what makes Prospect different and effective. There has never been a more important time to hold the politicians to account, no matter what their party background.”
We could not have said it better. The RCTU is steadfastly neutral and have only one aim – to protect and promote the interests and welfare of HMRC staff. What other Trade Union can say that?
The RCTU is beholden to one voice – the voice of HMRC staff.
